This page documents the rights basis for all content in zoebeat ("the Service"). The Service is a closed, invitation-only, free-of-charge Christian music community — no advertising, subscriptions or purchases — operated by Muvy AS (Norway). All audio is uploaded by approved creators to our own storage infrastructure and streamed exclusively from our own domain, zoebeat.com. The Service does not integrate with, link to, or provide access to any third-party streaming service, catalogue, or music discovery service.
Stiftelsen Skjulte Skatters Forlag (hiddentreasures.org) is the publisher and rights holder of the hymnals "Herrens Veier" and "Mandelblomsten".
Recordings of works from these hymnals are used in the Service under written permission from SSF, conditioned on SSF being credited as the rights holder.
The rights holder, hymnal and song number are displayed persistently in the Service — in the player, in track details and on catalogue pages. The "Herrens Veier" songbook section in the Service presents our own recordings of the licensed works, hosted on our own servers — it is not an external catalogue or service.
The Service includes a central control that can immediately disable all SSF content across all platforms should the permission ever be withdrawn.
Audio files are uploaded by approved creators through our web application and stored in our own object storage, served exclusively through our own domain, zoebeat.com.
The applications contain no SDKs, APIs, embeds, or endpoints of any third-party music or video service (no Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, SoundCloud, or similar). Cover artwork is uploaded by creators or produced in-house — nothing is fetched from external catalogues.
The Service requires sign-in; membership is invitation-only, and only manually approved creators can upload content.
Uploading is restricted to creators approved individually by our team. Creators retain copyright to their material and warrant that they hold all necessary rights — to composition, lyrics, performance and recording — as set out in our Terms of Service and Copyright statement.
A share of the recordings in the Service are AI-assisted productions created by the account holder. Our guidelines require that the creator holds the commercial rights to such productions; productions made with free tiers of AI tools (which do not grant commercial rights) are not permitted.
Every upload is held in a review queue and manually approved by our moderators before it becomes available in the Service. Content lacking a sufficient rights basis is not published.
The rights holder, source and song number are stored as structured data for each individual track and rendered as a persistent attribution line in the player, in the track's detail view and on catalogue surfaces. Where the rights holder has a source page, it is linked.
If you believe content in the Service infringes your rights, we follow the notice-and-takedown procedure described in section 7 of our Copyright statement. Disputed content is normally removed temporarily while the matter is investigated.
